Start a project
Tell the chooms what needs building.
Send the problem, not a spec. You don't need to know what the solution looks like — that's our job.
- Within 24 hours
- A real reply from the choom who'd do the work — not an auto-responder.
- A straight answer
- What it takes, roughly what it costs, and whether we're right for it.
- No pressure
- If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you somewhere better.
What to put in the message
You do not need a specification. The most useful thing you can tell us is what is going wrong right now — the enquiries that never arrive, the spreadsheet everyone dreads, the hours spent copying numbers between systems. Describe the symptom and we will work out the cause.
If you already know roughly what you want built, say that instead. If there is a deadline that genuinely cannot move, say so early — it changes what we would recommend. And if you have been burned by a developer before, tell us that too. It is more common than you would think, and it usually explains what you actually need from whoever comes next.

Common questions
The things people ask before they commit.
What happens after I send this?
You get a reply from the person who would actually do the work, within one working day and usually much sooner. It will be a real answer about your situation, not a calendar link and a brochure.
Do you take on small projects?
Yes. Some of the most useful things we have built took two weeks. If a project is genuinely too small to be worth anyone's time, we will say so and point you at a cheaper way to solve it rather than inflating it into something billable.
I do not know what I need. Is that a problem?
No, and it is the normal starting position. Describing the problem is enough. Working out what would actually fix it is our job, and doing that properly is the first thing we would charge for anyway.
How soon could you start?
It depends what is already running. We take on a small number of projects at a time, so there is sometimes a wait of a few weeks. We will tell you the real date rather than saying yes and then queuing you quietly.
Do you work with businesses outside your country?
Most of our clients are. We keep working hours that overlap yours, so a simple question does not cost you a day, and everything is set up on accounts in your name from the start.
What if we already have a developer?
That is fine, and quite common. Sometimes we take over something half-finished, sometimes we work alongside an in-house team on a specific piece. Tell us the situation and we will be straight about whether we would add anything.
